Family: Josh (32), Ashley (29), Landry (16 mo.)
Favorite Memory: Landry sitting in his car he got from Santa and watching the entire Curious George movie
High of the Month: Finding out we were expecting Baby #2
Low of the Month: Landry got sick the week after Christmas :(
December was a full month filled with Christmas activities! We are still getting used to Christmas season in Florida, with it's 90 degree weather! Of course, at the beginning of the month, we put up all the nutcrackers (for those of you who don't know, I have over 50!) and other Christmas decor. We went to get our tree for the third year in a row at a tree farm in Brooksville, and this year, Landry got to ride the train. It was slim-pickings for the home grown trees, so we went with one from the lot that had been delivered from up north.
NO Shirt NO Pants
NO Problem

In the middle of the month, we hosted our annual Christmas bash for The MOVE small group leaders. We love hosting our volunteers for the holidays and showing them how much we appreciate them. This year the party was followed by an impromptu game night. We love us some game nights, not sure why we don't do them more often.

Nena and Poppy (Josh's parents) came to visit us a few days before Christmas, so we had an early celebration with them. We took them to see the lights at Wiregrass Mall and enjoyed opening gifts and having a yummy Christmas meal.
On Christmas Eve, Landry had his first official haircut (one not done by Mommy). He did so well! We went to church for the Christmas Eve services that night and then enjoyed dinner and fellowship with the LaPortas afterward. Christmas morning was exciting this year since Landry was really excited to see his gifts. Santa brought him a big red car, Curious George books and a movie, some clothes, Mr. Potato Head, and a few other toys! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast casserole while we watched Curious George. Since we were without family for Christmas Day, Pastor Craig and Debbie were so gracious to invite us to join them for Christmas dinner. We are so blessed to have friends that are family here!

On December 28, we found out that Landry was going to be a Big Brother! We are very excited to welcome the next Hawk into the family. That same day, Grandmommy and Grandaddy came to see us and brought Aunt Rachel. Landry was sick most of the time they were here, so we weren't able to get out that much. We did open some MORE presents and at the end of the week, we went to the Capital One bowl to watch South Carolina beat Wisconsin!
