The Hawk's Nest: Brooks- 7 Months

Happy 7 Months! It was a big month for you, buddy! You started sitting up and crawling! You are such a joy to have around and people are always commenting on how sweet you are. It's hard to believe you haven't always been a part of our little family.

Weight: around 15 1/2 lbs. Height: ???

Firsts:
* First time sitting up all by yourself
* First time wearing a suit
* First time eating in a high chair
* First time eating fruit- bananas :)
* First time crawling!
* First night without Mommy
* First time holding a bottle
* First time staying with Mommy and Daddy by yourself (Landry was in VA)

Milestones:
- Sitting Up! You are sitting on your own but you don't sit for long. You are always reaching for something or scooting to get it.
- Crawling! You started crawling at the end of this month. It was a process as you have been scooting for awhile and then started rocking back and forth. You finally got the hang of it, but you drag one of your feet and never put that knee down.
- Eating! You are eating more and more kinds of food. You tried fruit for the first time and have had bananas and apples.

Like Mommy: You are looking more like Mommy did as a baby and less like Landry. You definitely have your own look.

Like Daddy: You like to give Mommy kisses. ;)

Mommy's Favorite: She loves watching your little personality develop. You have the biggest smile and light up whenever anybody walks in a room. You love to play and especially like it when your brother plays with you.

Daddy's Favorite: Watching you experience new things and reach new milestones.

How We Spend Our Day: Not much has changed in our day except that you are eating more and more food at your mealtimes. You are also sleeping a little better during the night and sometimes not even waking up at all.

Best Memory: Watching you learn how to crawl
