Well, tomorrow will mark a week until Baby Hawk's due date. We have been expecting him any day now since my last doctor's appointment where I was 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced, and the doctor told us he could come any minute. Now that we have waited a week full of minutes, we are just trying to carry on with life as usual.
It still seems very surreal that in a few days we will have a little life that we are responsible for. Although I feel as ready as I can be, there are still moments when I have no idea what we are getting ourselves into. As in all things in life, you can prepare and prepare until you are blue in the face, but then you just have to dive in.
Here's to the plunge...
