Landry's First Week

Wednesday, August 15

* Landry was born at 3:54 pm at St. Joseph's Hospital, weighing 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was 19 3/4 " long.

*Getting checked out by the nurse practitioner.  He was perfectly healthy and has a very good set of lungs, which he tested out for the first 15 minutes.

*Daddy did his first diaper change and did so well that he is usually on diaper duty at home.

*Landry also got his first shot, Vitamin D.

*We were moved upstairs from labor and deliver to the mother-baby wing around 6 pm.

*He slept very well the first night.

* 1st picture with Daddy.

Thursday, August 16

* 1st bath around midnight.  He did not like it much and screamed the whole time.

* First picture of the morning, probably around 6 am. We were still in awe that he was ours.

*Landry with Grandmommy and Grandaddy (my parents).  We were glad they were here to help!

Friday, August 17

*Looking cute in his going home outfit, the monogrammed onesie Grandmommy bought him.

*Leaving the hospital. So excited to be going home.

*On the way home. He slept the whole way.

Saturday, August 18

* First full day at home.  Looking extra cute as Mommy's Handsome Little Man!

*We had a little photo shoot for Aunt Rachel who works as an assistant athletic trainer for the South Carolina football team.

Sunday, August 19

*Early morning bonding with Mommy.

* First Bible study with Daddy, reading a little devotional book.

*Later that morning, all three of us watched Grace Family Church online.

Monday, August 20

*On the way to our first doctor's visit at Dr. Tan's office.  He did not like the doctor at all and cried the whole time.  He weighed 6 lbs. 6 oz and was otherwise very healthy.

Tuesday, August 21

* On the way to Mommy's doctor.  All the nurses thought he was the cutest thing.  He was so good sitting with Daddy while Mommy went to get a shot.

* After the doctor's, we went to Target and he stayed in the car with Daddy while Mommy went in to get some more diapers and some other things.

* Looking cute as usual in the outfit Nena bought for me.
