The Hawk's Nest: Landry- 9 Months

Landry- Wow! How are you 9 months? You have now lived in this world as long as you lived in Mommy's tummy! I know I say this every month, but you really are so happy and fun to be around. Your smile just lights up a room, and you seem to have this magnetic quality that attracts everybody to you. We love you!

Weight: 17.6 lbs.    Height: 27 1/4 in.

Firsts:
* First trip to Iowa to see Aunt Lauren and Uncle Brett
* First road trip with Mommy to see Aunt Rachel in Columbia, SC
* Said "ma-ma" and "mm, mm" when eating
* First freckle on cheek
* Ate deli meat and cheese
* Drank from a sippy cup
* Pulled up to play the piano and pushed a walker
* 2nd and 3rd teeth came in
* First time in a kiddie pool
* First Mother's Day

Milestones:
- Teething- You got your 2nd and 3rd teeth on the bottom
- Babbling- You can say "ma-ma" and "mm-mm"
- Moving- If you are not sleeping or eating, you are on the go full speed, which means that you have acquired several scraps and bruises.
- Playtime- You have been to Monkey Bizness to play, which is an indoor playground and swam in your kiddie pool. It's fun to watch you grow and get to try and play with new things.

Like Mommy: Your hair color and nose and mouth look like Mommy's when she was your age.

Like Daddy: You constantly move from thing to thing and don't sit still for very long.

Mommy's Favorite:  Mommy loved watching you splash and play in your new pool.

Daddy's Favorite:  Daddy loves seeing your "mighty warrior" spirit develop.

How We Spend Our Day: There has been no real difference from last month as to how we spend our days. You play hard, sleep hard, and eat a lot!

Best Memory:  We had a lot of fun visiting Aunt Lauren and Uncle Brett in Iowa and getting to hang out with Aunt Rachel too.

Biggest Challenge: Keeping up with you and all your energy and making sure you don't hurt yourself because you don't know your own strength.
