The Hawk's Nest: Landry- 11 Months

Landry- It's sad to say, but you are not a baby anymore. These last few months have just flown by, but it is so fun to watch you grow and learn to do new things. You are practically running these days, and you LOVE water (baths, pool, ocean). Guess you are a true Florida boy! We love you!

Weight: around 19 1/2 lbs.    Height: around 28 in.

Firsts:
* First time away from both Mommy and Daddy- They went on the X-trip and you stayed with Mrs. Tami
* Your two front teeth came in
* First July 4th and first parade
* First Father's Day
* First time at the children's museum
* First time on a ride at Busch Gardens

Milestones:
- Teething- You got your top two teeth this month. Teething is really the only thing that makes you really irritable, so we know that is the issue when you get fussy.
- Walking- You are practically running now and spend most of the day walking back and forth across the house.

Like Mommy: More and more people are saying that you are starting to resemble your mom.

Like Daddy: You love the water and doing anything adventurous.

Mommy's Favorite:  Mommy loved spending time with you and Daddy during Daddy's week off. We went to Busch Gardens, the children's museum, the water park, and just got to spend a lot of time together.

Daddy's Favorite:  Daddy loved watching you become more mobile and loves how you laugh all the time.

How We Spend Our Day: Our schedule still remains the same. You are sleeping a little later in the morning until 7-7:30, which is nice.

Best Memory:  4th of July- We had a great day going to the Lutz parade in the morning and then watching fireworks that night.

Biggest Challenge: Keeping up with you! You are on the go and are not in one place more than a few seconds. We have pretty much gotten the house Landry-proofed, but we forget sometimes and leave a door open to a room you are not supposed to be in. You notice right away and make a beeline for that room, especially the laundry room where Roddick's food and water are.
