Landry- 7 Months

Landry- You are 7 months and moving and grooving.  You are mobile now and constantly on the go.  Mommy and Daddy love how active and curious you are and are continually amazed at all your discoveries.  You are becoming much more verbal and are eating lots of new things. We just have so much fun with you and are so glad that God blessed us with you!

Weight: around 16 lbs.    Height: around 27 in. (these figures are based on at-home measurement and may not be completely accurate)

Firsts:
* CRAWLING!
* Pulling up on your own
* Making the "b", "p", "m", and "n" sounds
* First time being sick- had the stomach bug :(
* First time eating asparagus, green beans, peaches, yogurt, and oatmeal
* First time eating Gerber baby food and Gerber puffs snacks

Milestones:
 - Crawling- Last month you were so close to crawling and now you are officially on the go!  Daddy says you look like a robot when you crawl.  You love crawling toward cords. I think we have finally baby-proofed the living room and gotten all the cords out of your way.
 - Teething- Still teething, still no teeth but they're coming
 - Babbling- Instead of just making indistinct sounds you are starting to talk somewhat, your favorite being "ba ba ba". Sometimes while you are playing on your own or when you wake up from your nap, you will just begin talking
- Pulling up- You have learned to pull yourself up and especially like pulling up on the sofa or your jumparoo.

Like Mommy: You are so easy going.  Yes, you are very active (more like Daddy) but you also just go with the flow and don't get easily aggravated or bothered just like Mommy.

Like Daddy: You are so charming and a little flirt just like Daddy was when he was a little boy.

Mommy's Favorite:  Mommy loves how you are always standing in your crib and talking when you wake up from your naps and how when she walks into the room, you start smiling really big.

Daddy's Favorite:  Daddy loved watching you learn how to crawl and watching your little personality emerge.

How We Spend Our Day: Your days are pretty much the same as last month, except you now eat a snack at 4 and dinner at 6 and take an 8 oz. bottle at bedtime.  In the mornings after breakfast, you like to jump in your jumparoo.  But in the afternoons, you would rather crawl around and play with your toys.  On nice days, we go for a walk when Daddy gets home.

Best Memory:   Definitely you crawling for the first time.  You officially crawled for the first time while skyping with Grandmommy and Grandaddy.  You had been inching for awhile but that night you crawled on all fours toward the computer.  Daddy wasn't home because he was at church but he saw you crawl the next day!

Biggest Challenge: The biggest challenge has been adjusting to your increasing mobility, although it has been more fun than a challenge.

Figuring out how to pull up in my crib. The mattress was lowered 5 minutes later :)

Yay! I'm 7 MONTHS!
